Kate is a funny and friendly 8-year-old girl. One year ago, she moved with her parents from a small flat in the city to a house in the countryside.
At the beginning, Kate was very disappointed. She didn't want to leave her flat, her city and her friends. Besides, she tought the countryside was boring, nothing compared to the cinemas, theatres and malls that were in the city. What fun could be found in the countryside? she wondered. But suddenly, all these thoughts disappeared when she saw the beautiful landscape and the lovely old country house that for now on it was going to be her new home. She loved it, there was a lot of space to play, run and hide. Besides there were also some kids in the village that soon became her friends.
Kate is very happy now, she loves her country house, her new village and her new friends.
